We often tend to underestimate the wondrous benefits Mother Nature has gifted us with. As goes a very old proverb “An Apple a day keeps Doctor away”. It holds its value till date. Most of us are already, familiar with the nutritional benefits associated with this fruit.
It is often the first fruit a Doctor advises when you are sick and weak. From sorting those hunger pangs to managing your energy level it is a good package of all.
Apple also has the credit of the most cultivated and consumed fruits of the world. It is often ranked in the top 10 healthy food. From being extremely rich in anti oxidants and dietary fiber to preventing some of the nasty diseases it does it all.
Apples being rich in calcium, vitamin C, potassium, vitamin k, magnesium, copper, vitamin A, E, B1, B2, B6, and fiber are a good source of nutrition.

- Whiter and Healthier Teeth
Now, this does not mean that you go on ditching your toothbrush and toothpaste to start your day with an apple. On the contrary, you do not have to put an extra effort at all. Just eat your apple, as usual, biting it and then chewing it this procedure help your mouth create extra saliva which helps lower the level of germ and bacteria build up in your mouth. Eating an apple daily can further help you check any tooth decay in your mouth.
Bottom line: apples are fairly acidic in nature, therefore, it should be kept in mind that eating large quantities of apple altogether can actually damage your teeth. That’s why they should be consumed adequately. You should always rinse your mouth after eating an apple.
