Canadian Actor Ryan Reynolds is best known for his role in the 2016 blockbuster film Deadpool. Ryan Rodney Reynolds who was born on October 23, 1976 in Vancouver, Columbia was nominated for the golden globe award for his performance in Deadpool. He was raised as a Roman Catholic and was born to James Reynold who was food wholesaler by profession.

His mother Tammy worked as a retail salesperson and he has three elder brothers. Reynolds has two brothers. One of his brothers is in the police force as a mounted police for the Royal Canadian Police Department. Ryan graduated from Kitsilano Secondary school in Vancouver 1994 and later attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University Vancouver but did not complete his graduation. Hillside was a Canadian teen soap opera in which Reynolds was cast back in 1991 as Billy Simpson, which aired in the united states as Fifteen. In 1996, Reynolds had played another role as a teenager with Melissa Joan Hart in the chick flick Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Later in the same year, he also was seen giving cameos and performances in Two Guys, A girl and a pizza place and also played a medical student in Bergen. This was his first role as an adult which was followed by starring in the National Lampoon movie Van Wilder. He has played the role of a nurse in the famous sitcom, Harold & Kumar and has also made appearances in The In Laws with bigger stars such as Albert Brooks and Michael Douglas. Reynolds had given an amazing performance in the Spanish and American Thriller Buried. It is because of this, he was invited by the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2010 to join their esteemed institute. Later in 2007, Reynolds began dating American actress Scarlett Johansson who had shot to fame with her perfomances in the Marvel cinematic universe. They dated for about a year and announced their marriage in 2008. The wedding was a quiet affair as it only involved close family and friends. It was hosted in a simple ceremony near Tofino, Columbia. That marriage ended as Reynolds filed for divorce in Los Angeles on December 23, 2010. Ryan Reynolds is currently married to wife Blake Lively and they have two daughters Ines and James Reynolds.
